Lower Stomach Back Pain

At 5 weeks pregnant is it normal to have lower abdomen pain that seems to be worse when I stretch or cough?

I do not have any bleeding, just the pain. The pains are not constant and sometimes there is also some cramping (but not severe).

yes they are very common i used to get them all the time when i first got pregnant, they almost feel like charlie horses in your stomach. It’s just your body accomodating for the baby and growing. They are called round ligament pains. You will get them more often later on in pregnancy. Good luck and Congratulations!

Not a tightening feeling. I did have sex early this morning.Also, have been taking colace for constipation. Could this just be the baby moving or the baby’s position? Any advice on what this could be would be helpful.The pain is on the lower left side and across the lower abdomen.

Call your doctor, now. You are so close to delivery time, the baby could be "dropping", plus the colace could be working, or both. Call your doctor. seriously…

I had ovulation 10 to 14 days back.After 1 week i felt cramps in my lower abdomen and today am feeling pain around vigina.Is this normal to all.I havent took a test i dont want to get disappointed.The pain didnt lasted for much time but while i was urinating it is very irritating. any body have any idea?

pls wait tilll ur period due and then take preg test. hopefully its implantation..

i know what gas feels like this feels like little twitching like when your eye is jumping

I am 27 weeks pregnant and didn’t feel anything unusual after conception- I had no idea I was pregnant until I missed a period. I think it is different for each person though- some people do get some minor cramps a few days after conception, but I did not feel anything.

Pain around navel, lower left abdomen after urination?

When I urinate, or soon after, I have pain around my navel and lower abdomen. Usually the abdomen pain is on my left side, lower abdomen. Possible issues? I would like to have an idea of what it could be before going to the doctor. Thanks to all suggestions!

How often does this happen? Is it nearer to your pelvis? You could be ovulating. When I was a senior in high school, I asked my Biology 2 teacher if it was possible to "feel yourself ovulating". And she said yes, and at times, it’s hard for her to even walk she she ovulates. So, it is possible! If the pain doesn’t ease off within the next couple of days or it gets worse or if you’re super worried, then I say go ahead and go to the doctor, just to be on the safe side.

I was supposed to start my period 3 days ago. i dont really feel like my period is coming on but the last few days i have been feeling a pain in my lower left abdomen. kind of like a "pulling" or "stretching" sensation. BD a little over 2 weeks ago and ttc. Usually when I am going to start my period the pain is more in the middle of my lower abdomen (or pelvic area). I’m wondering what the outcomes of your experiences with this were. not the textbook answers. I know there are many possible reasons. but what about yours? thanks so much!!

I got that sensation when I was pregnant, more of a pulling and stretching than an ache.

i am about 5 to 6 weeks pregnant…and i have little pains in my lower abdomen..is this normal?

YES!!! Everything and anything can and will start hurting. Things are changing all the time and moving and stretching etc etc. Unless it seems servere or lasts for days I would just take it as your body changing and baby growing.

Im now 12weeks preg and ever since i get this lower abdomen pain like real light period pain which then goes to my back and turns out to be gases…Also sometimes i get some shooting pain in my pelvic and vagina and since i started my 12week of pregnancy i want to go to the bathroom more….I don’t remember this happening with my first pregnancy. Is it normal.

I am currently 14 weeks pregnant. I too had those pains from my 12th week onwards, i even get it now. My doctor said until it is not accompanied with blood , need not to worry.

Its your uterus stretching or ligmentation pain. Not to worry. Have a healthy pregnancy for you and me………

I am having lower abdomen pain on the right side right above my pelvic bone and some lower back pain that is on the same side. I can’t lay on that side or stretch. I went to the hospital they said i had PID and i got medicine for it and that was over 9 days ago and i am out of medcine , but my pain is consistant and wont go away. What should i do??

Call your ob/gyn and get an appointment. It sounds like you may have a cyst in there. But, since Im not a doctor I cant be positive. Only your dr can tell you exactly what is going on and will treat you accordingly.

Lower Abdomen Pain On 8th Week pregnancy?

I feel slight pain my lower abdomen that crawls to my left thigh. Is this serious? I have this the whole day today.

As long as its not extremely painful, then its totally common, due to the uterus slightly stretching getting ready for the new package. Dont worry, congrats.
