Why do I have Pain in left lower abdomen after gallbladdder removal?

I had gallbladder removal 10 days ago. All my incision sites look good and feel fine. I am even eatinging normally. But I have this pain that feels like muscle soreness in my LEFT lower stomach. What could be causing this?

One thing I found when I had my gallbladder removed was that the pain medicine caused me to be somewhat constipated. That can cause pain like that in your lower stomach. If you’ve been constipated, that could be causing the pain. If that’s not the case, call up your doctor and see if there is a chance that you’ve developed some sort of infection, or if there is something else going on.

Are you sure you ovulated 2 days ago? What are you using to determine ovulation? I would have intercourse just in case you are ovulating now. You are right you usually only have the pains before and during ovulation not after. You could also have an ovarian cyst if the pain doesn’t go away or gets worse. best wishes ttc!!!!!!!!!!

Peeing a lot and severe pain in lower left abdomen near pelvis?

I’ve been having these symptoms become progressively worse. I have severe pain in my lower left abdomen (near my pelvis) and I’m peeing a lot. What could this be?
I’m not having fevers (at least that I can detect) and my pee seems normal enough. It’s sometimes yellow but then I drink more water and I’m ok. There’s also a pressure feeling.

It could be a number of things from bladder infection to kidney infection to appendix inflammation to well just about anything. See in medicine there’s something called referred pain where something can be wrong in one spot and the pain can happen in another. You need to see a doctor who can give you a good diagnosis. Even without health insurance go in before you end up in the hospital with more expensive bills. It might be urinary or renal because of the peeing a lot, but it could also be because some kind of inflammation is in that area pushing on the bladder. How does you pee look? Does it smell strong? Any blood in it? Is it cloudy? Are you having fevers? What color is it? Tea colored? Amber? Yellow? There’s a world of possiblities and so you need to see someone who has the tools to diagnose you. Do you have any other symptoms like fever, chills, nausea or vomiting? When was the last time you had a bowel movement.
The most common cause is constipation. If you have accompanying fever or diarrhea, you could have an infection.

If the pain persists or becomes progressively more severe you should seek medical attention!

If you are female, it could be menstrual related.. or even an ectopic pregnancy.
Please call your doctor if this persists!

when i work out like push ups and situp and jumping jacks and get wore out i start getting Lower Left Abdomen pain. Its not strong pain it just feels weird.

you re getting cramps. happens when you don’t wait long enough after eating. and it also happens if you are just pushing yourself too hard. or the third option is that you need fiber because your poo is too rough on your intestines

I am having some pains in the lower left side down near my hip. I should have been ovulating starting last Saturday until Yesterday (give or take). I have never had this pain before. I am also having some lower back pain on the opposite side. Is this normal? I just got off the pill last month, and I am not due for a period for a few weeks. I have never felt this before and it has been pretty constant. Is it related to ovulating?
I forgot to mention that my breasts are also a little tender - something that usually didn’t happen to me.

I had pains in about the same spot you are saying and it was for about 2-3 days prior to my ovuation ( positive OPK told me I was ovulating) also I had been to my doctor after the first day I experienced these pains for a vaginal ultrasound to check my ovaries, and he confirmed that I was very close to ovulation. He said 24-36 hours.
Then day before I ovulated and the day of and even a bit the day after I experienced constant hard erect and very sore nipples. Sorry to be so blunt but want to be as helpful as possible. lol Hope this helped.

i’ve been getting lower left abdomen pain for about 5 months now. it comes and it goes. i started to get it pretty bad last night and i had noticed some brown discharge. today i noticed even more. i finished my period about a week or so ago and i’ve looked for every possible answer. what could it be?

Sounds like an issue with your left ovary. Like the first person said, see a doctor.

Lower left abdominal pain during early pregnancy?

I am 4 weeks pregnant. And yesterday I went to the mall, where of course you have to do alot of walking. I got really tired and my back started to hurt ALOT, then I started to get a sharp pain on my lower left abdomen. Kind of like cramps when you run alot, but on my lower left. I had to stop and sit down, b/c I got scared I could have a miscarriage, but is this normal? I feel perfectly fine today. . .

It must be normal. I am also 4 weeks pregnant and getting the same exact thing. This is baby number 3 for me and I don’t remember feeling it the first two times, but it’s not accompanied by bleeding or anything so I’m also trying not to be normal. I’m also concerned about a miscarriage, but I’m sure we are both fine. Good luck and Congratulations!

Just thought I would edit my answer. Got cramps like you did and started to spot the day I should have got my period. Am still waiting to hear from my doctor so call yours right away and tell them about the cramping. Don’t do like I did and wait for something bad to happen! this is called a "side stitch." Lots of people experience them, and it is nothing to worry about
